Toshiba BE03 32GB USB 3.0 Benchmark

I looked online for a benchmark for one of these drives before buying it but came up empty. Here’s CrystalDiskMark after running it with default settings. The drive is connected via USB 3.

PA5307A-1MCL

Its part number is PA5307A-1MCL and out of the box there is one empty FAT32 partition.

  1. I got an PA5307A-1MCR (Red) and had different results… could you have tested on a USB 2.0 port?

    Using CrystalDiskMark 6.0.2 x64 on Windows 10:
    * Via a USB 2.0 port, 34.81/22.68; 4.731/0.007; 4.792/0.007; 4.361/0.003 MB/s (read/write).
    * Via a USB 3.0 port, 134.3/84.14; 9.775/0.012; 9.747/0.009; 9.010/0.007 MB/s (read/write).

    Using BlackMagicDesign’s Disk Speed Test 3.2 on macOS Mojave:
    * Via a USB 2.0 port, 39.3/22.2 MB/s (read/write).
    * Via a USB 3.0 port, 128.9/89.0 MB/s (read/write).
